Zortrax M200 Plus

**Please note I currently think this is too expensive for this printer.  Back when I used a Zortrax machine, getting this high of quality out of a 3D printer was hard to get for a reasonable price.  $2800 is quite a bit too much for a machine such as this in my opinion**

This printer (non plus version) was actually used in my first video – How To Turn Photos into a 3D Print Using Autodesk ReMake.  I have used this printer dozens of times and it is extremely plug – and – play.  The quality of the prints are superb and the knowledge required to run it is extremely low.  But you will require proprietary filament made by Zortrax to guarantee this quality – which costs a bit more.

This is actually the “Plus” version, since the previous standard M200 is no longer listed for sale.

You are very limited in your ability to tweak the machine – and you are forced to use their slicing software.  This is all to make the process more intuitive – but if you are a person who likes to tinker with your machine – this may not be right for you.

All in all, I think this is one of the best machines for any beginner in 3D printing, that is, if you can afford it.

Building off the success of the M200 model, the Zortrax M200 Plus continues to deliver the same great performance, reliability, precision, and plug-and-play setup that customers have come to expect from Zortrax 3D Printers. The M200 Plus features several improvements over the M200 such as an improved cooling system to guarantee maximum efficiency, an expanded filament compatibility, material end detection, a built-in camera for print monitoring, and most notably the ability to create wireless 3D printing networks of multiple M200 Plus printers all managed and monitored from a single workstation.

The M200 Plus arrives ready to begin creating high-quality 3D prints right out of the box. The easy to use built-in touchscreen combined with the included Z-Suite 2 software allows users to preview 3D models directly on the screen. Simply input the file you wish to print via USB or over WI-FI and Z-Suite 2 will do the work for you!

The new WI-FI module that comes standard on all M200 Plus 3D printers allows you to connect and manage your network of M200 Plus 3D printers easily from the screen of your computer. The ease of use and ability to divide work between all machines makes quickly finishing even the most ambitious of projects a breeze.

The M200 Plus is now compatible with all materials available for Zortrax M series 3D Printers. The newly upgraded extruder allows you to print with Z-SEMIFLEX material opening up a whole new world of possibilities for 3D prints.
